The Castellani Cup 2025 returned to the rolling Wiltshire downs at Barbury Shooting Ground on 19–20 September, delivering two packed days of 100-bird Sporting across 12 stands and a superb standard of shooting.

High Gun: Billy Greenwood – 92/100 (won after a shoot-off)
Runner-up: Jo Smith – 92/100 (shoot-off)
Third: Sean Ponting – 92/100 (shoot-off)
A three-way tie at 92 set up a dramatic finale before Greenwood took the Cup.
AA Class: tight at the top, with three shooters on 92 and a strong chasing pack at 90. (Class placings determined by shoot-off/countback.)
A Class winner: Chris Price – 87/100.
B Class leaders: Maciej Sz and Peter Cantrill both on 83/100 (placings by countback).
C Class winner: James Stafford – 80/100

Building on last year’s sell-out debut, the 2025 edition kept the focus on testing targets, fair presentation and great hospitality—a format that continues to attract a strong field from across the UK. Shooters praised the flow of the course and the variety across the 12 stands, which rewarded consistency and composure.
